Valentines Funfetti Cookies with Homemade Sprinkles

These fun, happy cookies are deliciously fun, they have a chewy middle with a crisp edge and colorful fun, homemade sprinkles throughout! Simple, fun, and Super Tasty!

Ingredients

¾ cup Butter (1 ½ sticks) - room temp

¼ cup Brown Sugar

¾ cup Granulated Sugar

1 Large Egg - room temp

1 tbsp Vanilla

1 ¾ cup Flour

½ tsp Baking Soda

½ tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Salt

½ cup Sprinkles

Instructions


  • Line or grease a baking sheet and preheat the oven to 375 F.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together and set aside.


  • With an electric mixer cream together butter and sugars for 2-3 minutes


  • Add the egg and vanilla, mix until light and fluffy - another 2-3 minutes


  • Add in the flour mixture, mixing until almost combined. Fold in the sprinkles.


  • Scoop the cookies out and leave about 1 - 1 /12 inches between them and bake for 8-12 minutes.
